Shobna Prasad Chotu 51, has barely taken a day off since starting her job as a caretaker at the Fiji Red Cross Society when she was just 45 , incredibly Ms. Chotu has remained at the same firm ever since.
“I started work in Fiji Red Cross Society on October 26th, 2006. I started when Alison Cupit was the Director General. I have learned a lot since the first day I started work, I have learned how to use the printer, receive calls and other gadgets.”
“I enjoy working at this organisation because the staff and volunteer respect me. There is no racism at the work place and I enjoy sharing my good and bad time with the Fiji Red Cross family,” Ms. Chotu said.
