After a year working at the Fiji Red Cross Society, Colin Price is finally returning to Ireland.
Mr. Price who was the Shelter Delegate at the Society was accorded a farewell at the National Office in Suva yesterday by families of the Fiji Red Cross Society.
Mr. Price shed tears as the staff and volunteers sang Isa Lei, a farewell I-taukei song.
“I will leave Fiji with the fondest of memories. It was not an easy job, it was a wonderful experience. I wouldn’t have regretted taking this on. The gold of this country are its people,” Price said.
