STRUCTURE AND LEADERSHIP

The 2008 Constitution and its ancillary Rules and Procedures provide the legal framework by which the society operates and it is ensured that both documents are strictly adhered to, in keeping with good governance practices. The National Council is the highest body within the Society and constitutionally meets once a year for its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

NATIONAL SOCIETY OF THE RED CROSS

The National Council is responsible for the appointments of the Patron, Auditor and Honorary Legal Advisers and elects the President, Vice President, Treasurer and other members of the National Board and Honorary Members. The National Council Membership is made up as follows:
